The dome in these videos is 20 foot. I was planning on a smaller 14 foot with an outside outhouse type heated shed to house the toilet/cooking area (I really must have an electric kitchen for the micro wave, but I must build an AWT electric generator for this first. It's off the grid remember. See the video below! The guy lives in Las Vegas. This design would have been perfect for Necedah.)
This family built a yurt to live in to start with! So, why can't I do it too?
The goal is to have built a rocket stove, just as Tamidee had!
So, why not solar? There's not enough year round sun in Necedah for costly solar panels, but there always seems to be enough wind! This can always be covered over in an high wind situation to prevent a runaway situation where the wind turbine can be damaged, but as you can also see that they are low profile functioning. These are very non-intrusive towards the Aesthetics of the Geodesic dome home.
