Why do I like this Gentlelady!

9/26/2020,

(rough draft)

I never really was aware of Judge Ginsburg, until she had passed, and I have recently through more concerted thought about social injustice become more emotionally cognizant of her life. I have now come to view her as so many other have done, as a true crusader for social justice, and not just someone who could be easily persuaded by any political agenda of intolerance. But due to historically misogynistic discriminatory injustice that still exists today, the odds of her ever accomplishing any of her lofty goals were astronomical, and this appeals to my strong philosophical ethics. Yet, she poignantly held on with dogged perseverance to gain the respect of even her staunchest of political critics, and all of this through her personally tough but gentle well spoken shyness. It is a great tragedy that the great supreme court has been politicized to a point that her final wishes not to select her replacement to the bench until after November's election are being ignored, as if her courageous words were meaningless.
